One hundred and thirty deliveries! Yep 130, not just delivered but done automatically over a three month period in all sorts of weather.

Well done DHL, I wonder whats inside?

@Paul, yes and especially when you can do the same at sub 5k euro budget thanks to Aurdupilot:

Guess 5k will not be enough for the tiltwing, but close....

I'm already amazed of the autonomous & waypoints capability of Ardupilot, it is incredibly good. Why EU should pay millions to develop something that maybe will come close.

@Hugues

Joke :) I believe you never heard about Paparazzi AP, for example. :)))

I'm still waiting for a good performance demonstration of a Paparazzi system.  ;)

MarcS: Thanks for the info.  Interesting indeed.  I wonder if the CG is slightly behind the lift motors, so it's rearward weight bias, and the pitch thruster is only single-direction?  Or can it push up, and down?  I would think it has to be so.  And then is it a reversing motor?  Or is it a variable pitch prop?

I think the craft is still required to weathervane as a doubt that little thruster has enough power to overcome a wing over the tail surface.

And I wonder what hover performance is like in a wind with those big sails?

James, where did you hear about poor flight times?

@Rob

Explain me please, what do you think:

The only videos I have seen were not very impressive.  Some of them are barely flying.  I think I've seen some very slow waypoint demonstrations, I haven't seen anything at high speeds, in high winds, rapid accelerations, etc. etc.
