The LA100 is priced at €990 (US$1,275) and will come ready to fly from December, 2012. Lehmann Aviation says it plans to roll out hardware and software upgrades for the LA100 on a regular basis.

I guess its all about PR :)

  • If it comes with the glove I'll buy it... :)

  • @Tom - Their previous entry level FPV craft offered was pictured with a GoPro mounted on top, so they can't be referring to the camera. The only notable difference between this entry level option and the previous is the automation capabilities, nothing though seems to qualify as a "first" since both options are or we're available on other models.
  • I'm guessing they meant THEIR first GoPro platform.

  • Ok, you all understand my opinion on the price of that thing.  But to claim that it is the "first flying platform for GoPro users" is a joke.  Dude, it's a foam wing with a standard GoPro mount stuck on top.  Seriously?

  • jasonshort, It's a fully autonomous aircraft for non-professionals, so I suppose 5 minutes limitation time is a matter of safety. Definitely it is not about the battery limitations.

I'll shift to another system here :)  give them some PR :)

Talking about real FPV platforms and autopilot; guys at RangeVideo working on RVJET platform.

They already have nice autopilot/OSD setup RangeVideo OSD for $299 !

  • That thing sucks, just look. Doesn't it make you(us) feel good when we see others trying to catch up cash in on what we have done.
