Hello Arvista

I used Talon for a very short time and I lost money on it because of the very poor service by the developer. We were having problems, and the guy would not not be available to provide us support. So, that was my one and last Talon I sued I never wanted to see it again.  Luckily I bumped into another guy who is amazing builder, since then I have been using MTD as my airframe of choice. We may be switching to some else soon still under tests.

I'm not a builder myself, but yes I have used Hawkeye for over two years, and i concur with you that the airframe was good, but flight controller and the software were terrible and expensive. I made numerous suggestions to the developers they would not listen. Hawkeye air-frame is pretty good, but I think they could have done better work on wings, use light material than balsa which make the whole thing too heavy, to make it worse they were selling it with Sony A7R which is heavier camera than just A5100 or A6000, not much difference in photo quality is you choose proper lenses for it. But it I could find somebody that can build MTD or my new air-frame with the Kevlar and fiber glass finish as the Hawkeye, I would like to give it a try.

I wonder what you would be asking for the Hawkeye air-frame, I could try to ask my developer to load it with Pixhawk and we give it a try. But surely Cost is king, one time i tried to by the bare air-frame from the guys in New Zealand it was going to cost me an arm an leg, so I gave up.

Link me up with these jobs that you give up, you should have been looking for right partners to work with like us than giving up work.
