Use a Phantom 3 (4S) battery on my Pixhawk hexacopter?

Started Mar 12, 2016 0 Replies

Kinda of a silly thought, but since I own a Phantom 3, and a Pixhawk-based hexacopter (that normally uses 3S batteries), I was thinking it would be nice to consolidate my battery purchases.Of course…Continue

Using Pixhawk with a Fatshark headtracker

It's amazingly difficult to find information on this subject.I'd like to control the pitch, roll, and yaw, of my gimbal (Storm32 controller), from the control outputs of a Fatshark Trinity headtracker (mounted in Dominator V3's), using a Pixhawk, Taranis X9D, and X8R receiver.I do not want to use Mavlink, telemetry, or serial port instructions for the Storm32, as those ports are already overly busy handing the GPS, OSD, etc...so I want to use plain ole RC channels. The Trinity headtracker…See More

Solo gimbal "micro jitters". Using Prodrenalin V2 as a fix.

Maybe this has already been mentioned, but...I balanced my props and did the HDMI cable mode...and I still have micro jitters. So I tried Prodad's Prodrenalin V2, which is supposed to address micro jitters and such...(version 1 did NOT address those issues...or not nearly as well).Prodad has a trial version you can download. (I have nothing to do with Prodad.)Anyway, I made a video showing the results...the results are good. The jitters are vastly reduced. I'm no professional Youtube creator,…See More
