If you dont have a full cable connected you need to press reset on both charset and
firmware upload. If you can upload firmware without pressing reset, you should be able to

"ok with that cable you shouldnt have to press the reset button. And you have the rx to tx and viceversa? If that doesnt work then maybe you have to update the bootloader. Its been along time since i did it, and forgot the procedure.

"A character firmware (older one) is actually included in r800, its in the FW & Char folder called Character_Updater_FW.hex. No need to search for older one to use. Can be diffucult to know how old it has to be to be working too.
