transmitting unformated (not RS232) data via 3DR telemetry radios

I want to send a non-RS232 type signal using the 3DR telemetry radio. No start, stop bits etc. Just bits to be reflected exactly on the other end. They do have a format but its not the standard RS232…Continue

multi channel telemetry w 3dr V2

It's been ages since I've been here so I'm not up on the latest.I know there's been discussions about multi-channel coms with these radios, I think there was a few years ago, but I can't find anything useful.I have one ground station and several remote stations and I'd preferably like multi to multi communications on one channel. (eg. all three on channel 25)I did some manual tests with three radios all on channel 25 and if I enter something on one radio it shows up on the other two. GREAT! Any…See More

I want to send a non-RS232 type signal using the 3DR telemetry radio. No start, stop bits etc. Just bits to be reflected exactly on the other end. They do have a format but its not the standard RS232 async format we all know and love.I'm trying to inject the signal via the standard DF-13 cable. Is there any way to do this? The modem works, in every other way as I need for this project.See More

"A couple more tests on the bench. As suspected, once the unit warms up, a power reset shows less altitude deviation, it only climbs to about a meter in a couple of minutes and stabilizes. But it doesn't reset on ARM."

Loss of Altitude after horizontal run in Alt Stabilized modes.

Some of you may have noticed that your multi-copter will lose from 1.5 to 3 or 4 meters at the end of a horizontal run when in any of the Altitude Stabilized modes, like Alt Hold, Loiter (and PosHold for 3.2 candidates) or Auto.

Several heated debates have considered the…
