Hello Eric, I am Arvind, I am also working on a quadrotor, I have read your post in diy drones, it's really great. I am doing almost the same thing you have done. I have made a quadrotor using a 6dof IMU DIGITAL combo board and a complementary filter, using the same formula in your post.When i try to do only a single axis stabilisation using the arduino pid library, the oscillations are too much I am not at all able to balance the system, can you please help me, else I will be screwed for this semester.How can I increase the arduino pid loop frequency? The response of the motors to the tilt is very very slow, causing lot of oscillation.Please help me, I have to atleast completely stabilise one axis, as your system is so stable I hope you would be able to help me.Please send your email id if possible.
