Hi, I wish you the best of luck. I've tried several times to generate interest with DARPA but haven't yet managed to tickle their fancy.

What market will you be aiming your device towards?

Sorry for the delay. Hope your Christmas is going well.

I am just playing at making my own drone. I don't think DoD would be interested on anything open source and cheap. You see Lockheed Martin's Desert Hawk cost $173,000. Mine would cost about $10,000.

That's the way it goes.

Hi there,

In terms of tips, I have none really because, quite frankly, it is a really simple bit of kit to use. The only thing it is sensitive to is how wet the membrane inside is. If you havent used the cell in a while it dries out and needs "humidifying" otherwise you can damage the cell ad also won't get a lot of power from it. On the flip side, too much water and the cell "floods" and power drops quickly so you need to purge periodically to vacate excess water.

I have two schematics, both a bit old and messy, but I hope it gets the picture accross. You may have more lick studying my videos, the latest one is a bit more brief [here].
