Hi Guillaume,

I am currently attempting to communicate with a Pixhawk from a custom Java ground station i am trying to build. 

I am struggling to form the MAVLink messages correctly as the Pixhawk doesn't respond when i send it a message over telemetry.

Your MAVLinkGenerator looks great, however i thought i'd try get away with these MAVLink implementation classes: https://github.com/jdye64/MAVLink-Java, as they are already generated! Do you know whether these classes were developed from your MAVLink generator? Have you used these classes?

A snippet of my code to create the ARM message to be sent to the Pixhawk is here: 

msg_command_long msgCommand = new msg_command_long();

msgCommand.command = 400; //CMD_ARM

msgCommand.param1 = 1; //0=DISARM, 1=ARM

msgCommand.target_system = 1;

msgCommand.target_component = 190;

packet = msgCommand.pack();

byte[] packetBuffer = packet.encodePacket();

Resultant byte array to send:

packetBuffer = 254 33 0 255 190 76 0 0 128 63 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 144 1 1 190 0 188 202 

I am new to the MAVLink protocol and would love some help to get these classes operational.

If you want i can generate classes for you, i just need the pixhawk.xml and common.xml files that you want to use

Hello Mateo,

have a look to TestMavlinkReader.java. There is an example to read MAVLink packets from a stream or from buffer.

If you are using a XBee or 3DR module to receveive/send MAVLink packets from un ArduPilot, you can use a RS232 java library to have input/output stream for MAVLinkJava library.

Hellle !!! thank you very much, I could finally receive all messages sent by my apm 2.6 mavlink in eclipse, my question now is how to send a message mavlink from eclipse to the apm, such as to modify some settings of apm as flight mode, also wanted to know if there is any way to get faster a message specific to read real-time GPS or attitude.
