Howdy, I currently have a PD program that will stabilize my system, but it's currently running on seesaw system and has a USB cable connect.I want to remove the cable, but still run my program and collect information. If I create a daemon app with my code will I be able to connect a battery to the pixhawk then as soon as the system arms will my PD code start working automatically?Currently I send the command to run a txt file that stops the commander and does some other options then I send a…See More

How to control motors for a simple PD seesaw test?

Howdy,I am looking to use two motors mounted on both ends of a seesaw stand to do a simple PD test and ensure that my code for stabilizing my pixhawk in pitch is working properly. I currently have the code working, but it is controlling servos and not motors. I was wondering how I would go about controlling motors?Would I have to change this structure here, from 0 to 3 for the correct motor control group?struct actuator_controls_s actuators;memset(&actuators, 0,…See More

How to read RC inputs from a controller?

Howdy,I am currently writing my own code for a autopilot for a cyclocopter, and I am wondering how should I go about reading RC input from a RC controller? Currently I have my autopilot react to a change in roll, and I am looking to provide a desired roll angle via a RC controller and have my autopilot move to that position. Does anyone have an example of how to read or receive RC inputs and then use that information? Is there an already made module that takes care of that or is it something…See More

How to move a motor?

How would I go operating a motor? Do I use actuator.controls[i] as the command? or is there another motor specific function or command?I know I would need to first send a low pwm value to the motors, and after that I can throttle it up, so that the motors don't accidently start at full power.Thank you once again.Best Regards,Israel CasillasSee More

Howdy,So yesterday everything was working fine and I was able to properly upload the firmware using eclipse, but today it is giving me problems. When I make the firmware and it asks for me to connect the pixhawk it detects everything like normal, but once it reaches this part it freezes and doesn't do anything. All done!make[2]: Entering directory `/c/px4/Firmware/Build/px4fmu-v2_default.build'Loaded firmware for 9,0, size: 879960 bytes, waiting for the bootloader...If the board does not respond…See More
