Joystick sensitivity on Mission PLanner

Good day allI have a quad ( pixhawk 2.4.8 ) runing Copter 3.5.5 on a 450 frame. I can fly my drone with a joystickvia mission planner, but I find that the sensitivity is very high. It is a Logitech 3 axis joystick and I have been adjusting the settings on the Logitech software itself, but it does not seem to have an effect. Its almost like Mission planner accesses the device directly ??And currently it is just way to sensitive to fly safely..Does anyone perhaps have a work of wisdom ?Many thanks…See More

"iOS will only support WiFi connections since iOs requires anything connected to it to be licences. Hence you can't connect an SiK radio to an iPhone."

QGroudcontrol or Missionplanner on iOS

Good day allMy 450 drone is flying and I have tested most of the autopilot functions. I have flown it with Mission planner on my laptop. Now I want to fly it with either MissionPLanner or QGroudcontrol on a cellphone. (iOS).My Huawei P9 Lilte does not connect to the 3DR radio and I assume its because my phone is notOTG-enabled. I am wanting to try an iOS phone but , googling the issue it seems iOS has only limitedOTG-support.Has anyone else used QGroundControl or MissionPlanner apps on iOS with…See More

Obstacle avoidance

Good day allI completed my second drone a week or two ago and I thought it was finished !!!  Hehe ... !!a Few days ago I decided to add obstacle avoidance on and I found some information about that.Enough to get me going. What I was wondering ..... if I mount my sonar device facing the front of the drone and set therequired constants in the parameter list, what will pixhawk do if I fly towards an obstacle ?Does it back-off ??? Does it go into loiter mode ?? Does it try and find a new way ??I…See More

Prioriy levels for flightmodes

Good day allI am busy building my second drone :Setup:pixhawk2312 motors9450 propellersM8N GPSRXSR receiverI have done a successful maiden flight, but I would like to test some of the autonomousflight modes as I have programmed into the pixhawk. I am very cautious to create a situationwhere my drone can fly-away !!! And this raised a question with me about how I can regain control of my drone if RTL was activated. I was told that there are priority levels assignedto the flight modes but I…See More
