So far I have programed the devBoard with the firmare matrixPilot 2.5, but when I thougth it was programed, when I turned on the Board:
- the red led turns on and keeps on
- none of the servos move

the board is powered by a 5v power source.
No radio is conected to the board.
I don`t have the GPS of the board, it is necessary buy this GPS??

please could you help me to solve my problem??

Hi Jaime,

That is normal behavior for MP2.5. It is flight software that demands both a radio and a working GPS with a navigation solution before it will continue the initialization. I have the following suggestions for you:

1. Join the uavdevboard group, and repost your question.

2. If you want to test your board without a GPS, download either the self-test firmware, or the roll-pitch-yaw demo, from the project website. They will run without a GPS. Here are the instructions for doing that.

Hi Jaime,

One last thing. In my previous note, I see that the links I created do not appear as links, at least not in my window. But they do work. So, be aware that there were several links in the comment that I left, including:

Hi William

thank you very much for your answer, i'm going to order the GPS (EM-406A) inmediately

please just let me ask you one more question:

I'm going to need the radio signal every time i'll conect the board or i will need it only the first time I program the board??

my plan it's to let the board stabilize the camera automately, without any orther, so I don't really need a radio control.
