Hey Doug,

What is the all up weight of your Y6? Also what did you make the clam shell out of, it looks like the shell from a bicycle helmet?

I purchased the clam shells from OMGFLY.com in China and created a horizontal plate in the same shape as the oval pattern of the shell.  I drilled four holes around the shell and plate and used tie wraps to secure it in place.

As for the weight, I will weigh it this evening with all my specs for comparison.  That video shows the Y6 with the original motors and I've since swapped them out for 690Kv motors with 1247 props on top and 1347 props on the bottom.  Needless to say I have some serious power now and flight time as of late has been right around 10-12 minutes on 6000mAh 4S battery depending on flight mode.  my last hover test ran out to 12 minutes.

@ Nathaniel,

Forgot to reply back to my weight of the Y6B.  I weighed it minus batteries at 2350 grams (5.18 lbs).
