I am currently in talks to license the design for production.  If that route proves to be too much of a headache then I will begin in-house injection molding.

good looking gimbal !!! only problem when it looks down, there is no roll stabilization..

You cannot tilt the camera straight down and stabilize roll... you hit gimbal lock. That is why all gimbals have pitch as the inner most axis.

Hello Shai,

The gimbal in the video is made from 3D printed ABS with a lot of post printing finish work.  The production models will either be injection molded from ABS or HIPS.  I will do final material comparison and testing once they are molded.  Currently I am gearing up to launch a Kickstarter campaign for this gimbal and its handheld companion next month.
