11 seems great, will see you all then, (if the weather permits)

Works for me.   Phil P, let me know on Saturday if you're going to go down (due to the weather).  I've got a many new batteries and two copters that want to stretch their props.

  • 11am?

Depending on weather, Sunday is great, what sort of time?

No date yet MJ because of the weather.  It is meant to rain over the weekend, so wanted to see what was happening.  However, if we get a few out, then sure. (:

    Sunday:

    Min 11 Max 17 A few showers.

Partly cloudy. Scattered showers and the chance of thunderstorms. Possible hail in the afternoon and evening. Winds westerly 15 to 25 km/h turning southwesterly 30 to 45 km/h during the day.

  • I'd be up for a fly with the electric plane then and I can bring the petrol and gauge it on the day. How does this Sunday sound?
  • Doesn't sound like you've nominated a date yet Dave - however, I'm kinda grounded for the time being. Blew radio up and have not been able to coax a PPM signal out of the radio I bought to replace it.  (JR9303). (or if I have got PPm then it is not talking politely to 2 different FrSky rx.)

willing to take advice from skilled operatives to remedy this.

    (I have been here).

the only issue with Planes is the lack of a good runway.  we have graded (roughly) the ground and planted grass where we fly, but it is rough.  there is a road going around the area, but it is right next to the trees, so its not much use for landing...

but no issues with Nitro's at this point :)

  • Phil, are gas planes welcome?
