  Techpod's in Australia,

   

  You can now order your Techpod 2 at the boltrc.com store.

   

  After a lengthy journey from China to Seattle and back to Australia, I pleased to report that our Techpod's are scheduled to enter port tonight.  In a few days, they will clear customs and start their final ground based journey.

   

  There has been a considerable interest in the Techpod 2 leading us to double our initial order.  Given the challenging logistics of getting them here, there may not be a second chance!

   

  In order to distribute the planes in Australia we have put together a simple web store, please kind to our new humble abode. The store includes the Techpod and several key parts.  The parts have been very competitively priced on an international basis (even after GST).  The parts are delivered free with your Techpod order.

   

  We have several hundred products in the pipeline and will be uploading these to the store as time permits. Updates on the Techpod and other new products will be posted to the blog:

  Todd funny thing is NZ is about $65 for shipping from washington, AUS is $300 go figure. Yes I can ship you a RTF techpod. If you want anything custom just let me know. Thanks for the kind words.

  Hi, I am liking the look!!
  Im in New Zealand, Would the purchase option (via Australia I guess) also allow for the prebuilt RTF? Or is that only via your website Wayne?

  James, no problem. The fright company picked them up about two weeks ago. I think they were saying 3 weeks for the transit time. I will thow them an email and get back to you with a date.

  Sorry to keep harping on this, but is there any news on the Australian shipment front?

  I haven't seen any shipping announcement in the last month. I may have missed it so would be grateful if someone can point me to it.

  Wayne had answer your question. Techpod is definitely a very capable air frame for the job. I'll have mine maiden in full manual mode tomorrow if weather is good.

  the SX230 is 4.2 x 2.4 x 1.3 inches ; 7.8 ounces. The vertical camera area is about 4 inches wide with another inch of foam on both sides. a couple minutes with an exacto blade and you can have a nice place to mount it. the weight is no problem.
