In the early days I programmed small roboters on wheels in Java. With the programming of the AR.Drone from Parrot I entered in the field of flying robots. For getting experiences I built the APM 1 on an extended tiny QuadPod kit from Snelflight, UK.

"A general remark. Perhaps the parameter INAV_TC_Z time constant which influences the weight of the baro and acceleration values in the mixing process . I had some better alt hold behaviour with the APM by changing this value."

I forgot to mention in my last comment that the used ESC type is also unclear for me. But they run without problems in Connection with the APM 2.
