Chuk Rhodes replied to Bill Bonney's discussion Single Board Computer SD Card Image- Software Laundry List in Companion Computer Working Group
"Hardware troubles have kept me from working on this for over a week, I think thats fixed now.
It is looking good for going this way, but keeping up with the Master branch is difficult. What works one day breaks the next. And one thing I worked…"

"I almost have it working. It's built a small image, with more packages available to install with "opkg". It requires the master branch for Pi2, so it's a little tricky to build. Had to make a few file edits in the work dir, that belong in the…"

"I just started playing with Yocto for an UDOO board, similar to the Pi2. That would probably be a better way to go in the long run. But as far as Qt goes, it's a pain. Configuring on the board gets me more results than in Yocto. It is rather easy to…"

"QGC builds and mostly runs on RPi2, once you manage to get Qt5 built. I'm working on a build script, but the basics are at

"The POWER of the RC port is different than the Servo Rail, There appears to be a 350mA resettable fuse on it."

cd ardupilot

"28/12 degrees off is a lot - about 3.3 Million meters! My neo-6m powered up indoors is usually within 10 or 20 meters, and drifting slowly. After a few mins, maybe 5, it's pointing to the roof where I am, and fairly stable."

"Magnetic declination *should* only effect the orientation of compass, not position, but shouldn't hurt to set it right. SBAS was the only GPS option available that sounds like it *could* effect the position. But I would verify that it is reporting…"

"Heh, I can understand redundancy, but that seemed excessive... And a completely different set of potential problems. Is the offset consistent? Or in other words, are you sure they are reading, and not just reporting a last known position? If YOU…"

"The Y cable could be used on Telem1 for telemetry and OSD, leaving Telem2 for FrSky. Serial4 is non standard wiring, but I found it easy enough to pull pins from a spare cable and make one (keeping a header for Serial5/console).

"It's hard to say... With latest Copter (master branch) and Mission Planner (beta download), under Full Parameter Tree there are RC1 thru RC14, but they don't seem to support all the Channel 7/8 options.

Not sure about earlier versions, cause I need…"

"I can confirm similar with Graupner SUMD, and Hott Telemetry on Serial 4. Support for that specifically seems new and incomplete.

I have got 16 channels in to show up with SUMD. And there is this :
