Hi there,

i would like to know if i could use the Arduino Deumilanove or the nano w/328 board for autopilot control on my blimp.

The board should be able to drive 3 dc motors, hook up the XBees for wireless telemetry and other sensors.

Please do recommend me one thats cheap and reliable(besides Ardupilot) and satisfies all the above.I'm new to arduino programming and i hope to kick start with some basics.

We already make Blimpduino, which can do most of this. Have you checked it out?
The blimpduino looked nice. unfortunately it is in the middle of a rebuild hiatus. Inspired by the blimpduino and unable to find it anywhere, Ive been building up my own. Using quadcoptor sensors posed some weight and pinout problems but they free you from the groundstation and free you up for some potentially cool AI and payload - and I found a way out with the Pololu Baby-O.
