I'd be curious to hear from others who are using an EasyStar as their airframe; what modifications you've made, equipment configuration is and total flying weight.

I have an EasyStar and the only modifications I've made have been increasing the rudder size, underside fuselage access with magnet closure and magnetic closure for the canopy.

I'm using a Spektrum AR6200 receiver, Turnigy HXT2835-2200 motor, 40A ESC, ArdurPilot with shield, X,Y & Z sensors, 406A GPS, XBee 900 and a 3S 2100 mAh battery.

Above configuration is 28.3 ounces.
