firmware update procedure

Sorry if this is a simple question. What is the correct way to update APM to latest firmware? Do I need to erase/flash the old code or just install the latest firmware from Mission Planner? Thanks you

I know this one! :) Just open your APM planner, make sure your APM is connected on USB and the correct port and speed selected, then go to the firmware update tab and click on the plane icon.

So, no erasing required, just install from MP.

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
