My son and I are interested in getting educated on the ArduCopter.  Is there a document or book for beginners?   What is the difference between the 3D Robotics and JDrones versions of the ArduCopter?

Thanks!

There's no book, but there is a very comprehensive wiki here

The 3DR Robotics version is more robust, for better handling of rough landings or crashes. The JDrones version is lighter, for longer flight times.

Thank you!
