Hey guys,

I bought a U-blox with adapter from the store here, and started playing with it. I plan to put into my ground, SAGAR.  Details -> http://www.billporter.info/?p=95

Anyway, the adapter board makes very poor contact with the GPS. sitting on the table next to me, I have a great GPS lock, but if I look at it the wrong way, I don't get data from it, and have to gently wiggle or apply pressure to the board to keep good contact.

This is going to be a problem for the vibration of a ground drone. Has anyone had this problem before? Are there any quick DIY solutions to keep good contact between  the adapter board and GPS? Thanks.

I use hot glue and heat shrink, so I can repair later, epoxy is hard to remove.

You're supposed to epoxy them together. If you do that, there aren't any connection problems. We've got the pair in a half-dozen UAVs in the air, and have never had an issue.
