Video Stream over a few kilometers?
Hi,
I need to be able to stream video from my UAV over a distance of a few kilometers. it does not necessarily have to be good qaulity but enough to be able to accurately see where I am flying.
What cameras/receivers/transmitters would do this for me? I need something small like this from sparkfun: http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8739

Why would you need to?? None of should fly out of VLOS, better quality always is better quality!!
Have a look at the FPV section over at RCgroups for stacks of options.

I am building the UAV for a UAV search and rescue challenge (http://www.uavoutbackchallenge.com.au/uavoutbackchallenge/) so I will need a long range.

with a ultra gain antenna on ground , you can reach 2 mile.
