This has been the worst experience I have ever had trying to buy something. I ordered an ArduCopter and you guys send me an email wanting a picture of my credit card or a screen cap of my bank account. What king of crap is that? So I reply to the email saying just cancel and I'll reorder using paypal but the email was rejected (see below). So I call the number and ask him to cancel the order to free up the pending transaction so I can re-order and it's still pending. Jeesh you guys what's up with all the hassle? A picture of my card? A screen cap of my account? If I were a thief I could easily fake that up with Photoshop.
Please just cancel my order as well as my membership in this board.

This thread heading seemed appropriate for my beef. Please read on...
I've had more than my fair share of bad experiences with 3DR but have tried to keep them internal. However, the last straw just occurred. After having to get my APM 2.5 replaced because of a missing pull up resistor on Ch1, I thoroughly tested my less than 2 month old, never been flown, APM 2.0. I found that the current sensor was not working correctly. So after much ado, 3DR issued me a RMA to return it. Sure enough, the ADC or trace was bad. Soooo
3DR said they would replace it with a brand new APM2.5 (I can post email from Carmen for any non-believers) I thought that was great and a nice gesture on the part of 3DR. That is, until I just now, when I opened the box. There was an unassembled APM 2.0 with no pins, connectors and missing the flash sub-assy!!! (See photo below, that's the entire contents of the box) So now I have a useless object that is too light to even be a good paper weight. If you knew all the effort to even get this far, you would feel my pain, if you don't already. Thanks for reading.
Regards,

Hi Steve,
Sorry for the mix up and inconvenience caused by this issue. We've already sent out another board (this time a real APM 2.5 board) to you. This board was sent by mistake and we did not mean to mislead you in any way. This was just an unfortunate mistake with regards to your order.
Please let me know if you need help with anything else.
Thanks!
Why not send Steve another one so he can have a spare APM2.5? I think he deserve it.

He's already going to have a spare APM 2.0.
agree but too light to even be a good paper weight.

what's that mean?
