Today i installed 2.37 on my quadcopter. First impression WOW!!! Alt holt is impressing..
But after some flying the quadcopter suddenly turn(yaw) 90 deg (in simple mode) and i was not able to steer because he was now and then turning 90 deg, always counter clockwise... Made a quick landing without broken parts...that was the good part..a few months ago i lost a quadcopter..
i have no compass..
Some advise for me?
Thanks,
Max

As far as i know, the quad is not able to know its direction accurately without the compass (gyros are not good enough because of drifting inaccuracies), that's why you should not try position hold without the compass.
btw, do you have a sonar? or your using altitude hold with only the pressure sensor?

The compass was stuck on one value but sometimes it changes, 90 deg!! So i disconnected the compass and will try again.. after the rain.
@sam_d yes i do have a sonar. Alt-holt is rock solid.
