Comment by Jeremy Tabb on September 18, 2012 at 5:00am Hi, Does this mean you solder blobbed the contacts , so it doesnt run the 12v through the osd ?
i've read that it can heat up too much if you run 12v through it ?
Regards
Jeremy
Jeremy, I don't connect 12V to the OSD. My setup is explain here. I have hardware version 1.0. If I'm not mistaken you don't need to do this with the new hardware revision 1.1 since the heat issue is resolve.

It is not clear to me how do you power the OSD 12V side.
Could you please be more specific
Thanks
Avi
Comment by Jeremy Tabb on March 16, 2013 at 4:09am Hello Avi, if you look at the link Eagle posted in the "my setup is explain here" there are two diagrams, my osd is version 1 so got too hot with 12v running through it , i used the second option in the diagrams which takes out the 12v supply ,it works great now , without the worry of it overheating in flight :)
hope this helps :)

Comment by William Ishadi on March 25, 2013 at 1:04am is it possible to use minim osd simultaneously with telemetry 433mhz from 3DR?
i look up on the xbee board just 5v, ground, tx, rx. But in 433mhz 3DR teemetry module, there is 5v, ground, tx rx, and CTS, what this CTS and does it have to connect to minim osd?
Comment by William Ishadi on March 25, 2013 at 1:04am i use APM 2.5
