Dwgsparky replied to Gerd Ulbers's discussion Two ESC with BEC, two batteries and one RC channel result's in problems
"Great but to be correct you should connect the signal (-) wires together, battery (-) and Esc (-) are not always the same. You will not have ground loops as you are using them in a star configuration not a ring."

Dwgsparky replied to Gerd Ulbers's discussion Two ESC with BEC, two batteries and one RC channel result's in problems
"Hi Gerd you have 3 power sources, The Lipos and the 2 ECS They do not always share the same ground (-) wire.  your high power wiring is correct.  in your diagram it states the + and ground are interrupted for the top ECS, this is not…"

Dwgsparky replied to Gerd Ulbers's discussion Two ESC with BEC, two batteries and one RC channel result's in problems
"You need all the esc grounds connected , you need 1 esc + , ground and signal to the receiver. Then it will work, you should not have the 2 esc + joined together only one is required"

Dwgsparky replied to Bravo Sierra 80's discussion What battery?
"There is nothing in an esc to reduce the voltage. It generates a square wave on 3 wires 120 degrees out of phase with the previous wire ,your esc controls the %age and frequency. Battery current still equals motor current + esc losses. It's…"

Dwgsparky replied to Bravo Sierra 80's discussion What battery?
"Philip is correct, battery current = motor current + esc losses . You are confusing two different motor types. A brushless motor is an AC motor and relies on an induced voltage in the motor to generate the rotational power . this induced voltage is…"

Dwgsparky commented on wayne garris's blog post techwing gets winglets and slots
