Is this just a one off in Quality Control? Or is this the sort of stuff I can expect to normally pass the 3DR QA department? I don't recall any of my CC-BY-SA 3DR "clone" variants coming in looking…Continue

I decided it is time to dust off some of my old ArduPilot boards. As we all know we *should* be running the latest code at all times, per the development staff. *Supported* means running latest.As…Continue

You guys have seen this EL rig on a few of my other birds in the past... I've been tuning the Revo the past few days and quite simply have not had available daylight. How to solve? EL wire and some zip ties of course! Pirouette practice in the dark was cake once I was able to see!
The EL is from …

Thanks Kevin, if I can just find what's shorting out the pins I should be OK

@Drone_Savant,
Sorry to disappoint you, but I am not running an APM2.5 in my setup. Therefore I cannot duplicate his hardware configuration. Also, there are many alpha versions of the ArduRover2 v2.30 code and I have no idea which version he is using.
If my receiver loses contact with the transmitter it will put out a 1.5ms signal on both the aileron and elevator channels which the APM1.4 sends to the Sabertooth as the steering and throttle signals. Therefore the motors attached to my Sabertooth do not move if the transmitter is turned off.
Regards,
TCIII
