"Try it again in an open position so that the buildings will not disturb the GPS signals. In the init phase the GPS HDOP/VDOP is always wandering around a bit but the error will be smaller according to time."

"When connecing via usb, you should not have any crc errors, or only 1 or 2. if you are gtting more than that verify all your soldering for dry joints and shorts.   Michael"
