Downloading Missions from Flight Cobtroller

Hello Everyone; I just joined the group, and would like to thank you for the great software, support, and for having me here.As part of our pre-flight safety procedures, we first upload the planned route on to the flight controller (this is done, depending on the scenario, either at the office, or directly at the site just prior to flying), then we check all looks OK and there're no suspicious elements/warnings, and finally we download again the flight plan from the FC (we have Pixhawk based…See More

"The camera shutter logs on to an ublox M8T; the Pixhawk uses its dedicated 3DR GPS unit (M8N, I believe). The M8T logs to a simple SD card logger connected to the GPS board (no sbc used)."

Giovanni - iGV replied to Giovanni - iGV's discussion Canon SX260HS accurate geo-tagging
"Hi Sandy. I use an u-blox M8T to acquire raw gps data that are then post-processed, and don't really use the Pixhawk gps log data. KAP UAV us set to one-shot."

Sandy Sound replied to Giovanni - iGV's discussion Canon SX260HS accurate geo-tagging
"Ok, thanks for that Giovanni, it sounds sensible to have a seperate GPS. Do you use a uBlox for the Pixhawk also? So that both GPS systems are identical and get "identical" positional readings (offset by their physical distance…"
