Quaternium Spidex V3 Mapping Quad with Case and Extras

I built this with intentions to get into mapping.  I set it up and played with it a few times but it sits around more than anything.  Comes with everything pictured except for the receiver(free if you want it).  Add your transmitter/configure it and it is ready to go.  Camera is an Canon  S95 and runs CHDK.  It has a 5.8 tx and rx to view what is being shot.  This has t motors and rotorgeeks escs with damped light enabled.  This flies extremely stable with it enabled.  Link to the video below…See More

"Forrest check out miniquadtestbench.com. A lot of good data there though geared to the smaller fpv quads. His testing methods are pretty neat. All automated and data logged. The hobby wing Xrotor pro 40a have been doing really good for me on a heavy…"

"Any idea why the copter is switched in to any mode that requires the baro it has a 1 second full throttle climb then returns back to the requested altitude?  It hovers exactly at mid stick in stabilize.  No expos or anything in tx.  I…"

moglos replied to Neil Baker's discussion Point and shoot camera with video out?
"I don't know if the S100 is actually better, I'm a lot more comfortable sending the S100 out on longer missions I guess. It's lighter which is an advantage for longer missions, and it's half the price. It does have GPS which can…"

"No prob with the NEX, I love it. I've read that in auto focus mode using a HDMI converter you can have periods where it takes a long delay between images (you should google it to get the details, it is only in specific situations). I've…"

Rick McEwen replied to Neil Baker's discussion Point and shoot camera with video out?
"I've heard good things about the NEX5. Mostly that they're high resolution means fewer shots from higher altitudes. I've also read some have had issues with the NEX5 not being capable of capturing large numbers of shots in rapid…"
