"Spent some time trying to setup my clone F450 with the APM2.It hovers now. But seems to have this funny wobble issue. I have been dropping the Rate P down to lower the effects of this. Currently at 0.09. The wobble seems to cycle every one second.…"

"I'll try again. I know that when I use the xctu with 57k setting, it worked. I was able to type and see the the message on my other comp. but does not do anything when its on the APM2. "

One usb which connects directly to my pc.The other, I wired the headers and then to the APM2.Is there anything else I need to setup?I already did make sure the addresses are the same.Baud rate at 57k. Did not do anything. Tried 9600 still nothing.See More

"I got it loaded a few weeks back. Had a few hovers on it so far with the new firmware. I feel like its a little sensitive on my stick. Tried adding some expo, still feels a little sensitive. Think its because of having all the thrust on the quad.…"

"Well, I tried to change the APM Config file to Octo Quad like the examples posted. But when I compile, it gives bunch of errors. I know I selecting the right board too.  Is there anything else I am missing? "

"Hi there Ian. I am pretty much in your shoe right now. Built up an X8 then figured out there is not easy way to set it up. Now, I am readying this thread to figure out how to set it up . How is it flying? Any chance you can type up a little pointers…"

"I never did calibrate the mag. Didn't think it needed it, or at least was not in the guidelines I followed from the wiki. Maybe I missed it. "

"It's could be the magnetometer calibration. You can start from scratch and recalibrate it. Be sure to keep high current DC wires to the ESCs away from the APM and Magnetometer. Jason"
