Flying into canyons - rc & video link?

I often fly in an area with some very large bluffs, canyons and such. I generally fly standing on a lip of the canyon wall as I'm less likely to inadvertently fly outside LOS, and it's frankly very difficdult to travel down into the canyons themselves. There's a number of shallower draws and the like but the main canyons have walls about 300 feet high. Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I've used uav's to explore wild areas and for fun, ie fpv 'racing'. I spend way too much time researching the technology and I'm fascinated by its' commercial applications. Currently tweaking my smaller fpv quads and re-building bigger 700mm ap quad with rpi3+ companion.
