President Promises to restructure exports controls

In his State of the Union Address tonight, President Obama acknowledged that export controls are an unnecessary burden on the US economy and promised to restructure exports "in a manner consistent with our Security".

No guarantee on the outcome, but it's a start...

Only you can prevent UAV patent trolls.

I was researching prior art for a fully redundant motor/ESC/Battery device, and came across this patent for the the Segway ESC by Dean Kamens group (DEKA).
