FPV Camera Mount

I can't be the only one who has had some trouble coming up with a good way to mount an FPV camera on their quad. So I designed a simple snap together mount that I would like to share! This thing presses together and glues to your frame with some hot glue. It weighs 5 grams. I designed it with universal (should be anyways)…See More

"Arducopter has been doing this since 2.7 or 2.6. Only way to reset that I have found is to power off. It is very random, although I have seen it a lot less with the new 2.9.1 But 2.8 would do it nearly every 2nd or 3rd attempt at a mission if you…"

unexpected behavior in auto takeoff

Hey everyone,I have done auto takeoffs before, but today my mission had a hiccup.I flew the copter to the home position I programmed, landed, disarmed, armed, and just got the props turning, then engaged guided mode. The copter took off to an altitude of about 2 feet then just loitered there. I let it loiter for at least a minute. I could nudge it around, but the throttle was useless, so I know it was in guided. …See More

EPP FPV Wing Project

Posted on October 24, 2012 at 8:19pm 18 Comments

I have designed my own flying wing and had it cut from flyingfoam. I would love the input of some of the members of DIYDRONES. The span is 60", I chose an MH60 airfoil and added about 2 deg washout. I cutout the motor mount and servo mounts on my CNC router.…

I haven't bought the apm 2.5+ board yet, because I was afraid that it won't work well with the epp fpv. ;) Maybe I'll order it within the next days. Hopefully the navigation is working well because I live in an alpine area and a navigation failure will lead to an unrecoverable plane.. :P cheers
