What a simple orthomosaic and DEM can do

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3odtsy6l_KEUsing Orthomosaic and Digital Elevation Model to create 3 D model is nothing new. But normally it will require lots of computing power and knowledge. Skyline's TerraBuilder and TerraExplorer make it easy for the average people to make 3D video from an orthomosaic and DEM. For sure there are lot's of other functions within the software, I think just a 3D fly around video create by my recent…See More

"Yes, it's my own design.  Tamarisk 320 + low light EO, 80mm 'ball', 3D printed ABS, with 2-axis stabilisation for now.  ~540g all up weight, mostly due to oversized motors to reduce jitters when mounted on a fixed wing.…"

I am totally new in this field. Would like to start with the most simple form of FPV and ultimately would like to build a low cost UAV capable for long range low altitude air survey and petrol. 2013 update : A few Skywalker base UAV had build for aerial mapping purpose. Result is quite promising.

Hi Keeyen,

My name is Hiong and I am new to the world of UAVs. While researching the use of UAVs in Malaysia I came across your name and Wee Siong (via ConservationDrones.org). I recently met with Wee Siong and he mentioned that you would be in KL this week, would you have the time to meet with me for coffee while you are here?

Many thanks,

Hiong

Thanks for adding me. Nowadays its very satisfying just to watch the aircraft flies itself, performing auto missions. I really must be getting old.
