"Hi Dave No i have not.  A pixhawk 2.1 ( or 3 ?) is the most likely solution. And even then probably not. I considered a 16 channel radio for a few minutes at least ! No matter how many channels you have there are still only 2 joystick controls…"

"Hi No answers to the issue but i need to join in as i have exactly the same problem. I have a pixhawk powered X8 controlled via a gruapner 8 channel TX'r. I now also have a Gremsy H3 gimbal that will need a PPM input and this appears to mean 2…"

ekf related crash, pixhawk hexacopter What went wrong ?

Hi AllHope someone can help. This was the second flight of the day, was range testing my video downlink with a new legal power transmitter. First flight all good.Second flight went like this. Take of , all good and fly away straight line for about 150 metres at 20 metres alt'.I suddenly realised that the craft was not responding to me and was drifting left and losing height. At a loss what to do for a few seconds i then remembered to look at mission planner where i noticed flight mode "land" I…See More

using R.O.I to film a high altitude object, limits of the variables.

Hi GuysI have a project, as indicated above, to track a high altitude object. It appears to be feasible to use a gimbal inverted and set the ROI altitude to a large value. I have not yet discovered what the variable range allows. Mission planner lets me enter 35000000 metre's for example but that does not mean a mission would initiate. Too cold, wet and windy to prove it here.Could someone point me in the direction of the code variable types or, hopefully, tell me you already have such a project…See More
