"Not too bad!  it could also be "simply" be that you did not do the in flight auto trim.  the best way (simpler) is to arm as usual, then hold again the left stick to arm (lower right) for an extra 20 seconds Watch the ABC LED,…"

First Flight

This is the video of the first flight of my 3DR Arducopter with 880kv Motors & 10x45 Props and default PID. The drift was due to heavy wind and also I suspect a faulty ESC for motor #3 causing it to spin slower than others. It might also be due to tilted Motor mount.I had replaced the suspected ESC with a new one. Will try a flight today to check if the problem still exists.See More

"Yes, If I remove the jumper I can power the board via Input Rails. I was wondering Will it be a good idea, if breaking out another BEC Power output from the PDB and connecting it to the Input rails?"

Due to my poor Flying skills, I had to search for a way to reduce the damage due to hard landing. This is what I come up with and it works well. However at times it is too bouncy.

I also face a problem with the …

The soldering of PDB was not very difficult thanks to the detailed manual. However, I feel that soldering the Female Dean’s Receptacle first might be convenient as the narrow gauge wires won't came in the path of soldering gun. Though this is not a big issue.…
