Ive recently crashed my FPV Racer (Pictures below).
The problem was I lost contact with the transmitter on my end and ended up falling from a 30 Meter Height onto hard concrete. Thought it would have completely destroyed the drone, but as i panicked and came to my…Continue

Its very early to judge, whether Microsoft Hololens is going to be a good product, but from what i see it could be the ultimate FPV solution. Just imagine Telemetry, video screen and a natural view of the drone all on a holographic, augmented reality glasses. The setup should…Continue

Hi there, another update on the blog I wrote last week which showed how to make a cheap ($50) wireless fpv monitor. Hi there, I updated the blog I wrote last week which showed how to make a cheap ($50) wireless fpv monitor. This week, I updated to show how to add droidplanner to this setup, and for me it cost zero extra cost. Should cost you about a dollar to make if you're inventive. (Total cost…Continue
Hello, I decided to make a guide for people who wish to make a neat budget wireless fpv monitor. I figure that it costs less than half the amount to make your own than to buy an off the shelf monitor. And besides, it is fun to hack and be creative. You also learn some valuable skills.
Its been a while since I posted part 1 on this project. Since then I have been working on the HUD as well as building myself a test copter. Oh, and I've also finally got my 3dr pixhawk,
There is nothing much to show today except…Continue
Always wanted to try some flying from a moving car, but never thought of driving a car with fpv goggles on, and watching the car form the air. :)
Started a little pet project as I further develop a flight system that we can use on all of my crafts. This was going to include a uniform setup for several pieces that made the system work for me. I wanted to include a head tracker,as I started getting into this I remembered a episode that I liked very much on Top Gear, yes I am a gear-head also. So as I thought more about it,a nd as I get this setup consistent across the fleet this would be a good time to question how to…Continue

Been some time since I've posted anything, since I've been working on this really big dream project of mine, a quadcopter which can fly for around 60 mins , provide a HD video downlink and have a really powerful flight controller.
I had to consider many things to acheive my goal, especially :
Guess how they got these shots!!
Cormorant class wing
50inch span 10.5ich chord at root
Payload bay 10x5x1 inch
battery bay 2x5x1 inch
Payload capacity (yet to be tested)
RC Skill Level intermediate
this is a relatively large plane . intended for FPV and other UAV function.
slightly slower than PX33
being a slow plane , don't expect it to take on winds of 20mph its just dangerous
its intended for First timers in…Continue
