Crowdsourcing works! New, equally peaceful but more realistic banner

After much discussion about my poor effort to turn a military Reaper into a NASA Ikhana, IKE took the initiative to do it right and go straight to the source. He took a Ikhana photo, flipped and tilted it so it was about right for the logo, then vector traced it and removed the unnecessary bits. Voila: our new logo. Many thanks (and a $50 DIY Drones gift certificate) to IKE!

Here's how he did it:

Hi Chris ! It's look OK now. Is is possible to remove the long thinn object which is protruding outwards from the nose, as, with this people generally assue the aircraft / drone armed.

People would confuse the pitot tube with what...? (Almost every aircraft has a pitot)

Lets not get ridiculous now.

That's the pitot tube! Why would people think it was a weapon? I'm not really worried about sensitivities at this point. We've done enough to address the issue. Time to move on to more important matters.

Chris and all others, pl. forgive me, I suggested this keeping in mind that once my Ardupilot got struck in customs. I got letter from them, they once again examined the packet in front of me and asked me several times about the drone photo on the Arupilot Board.

I tried to explain them a lot but they said "see the photo, the aircraft has so many arms, means this item is part of such air craft which has all this"

I myself could not conveince them then I called Major. Sharma to visit customs and explain them, then I got it back.

Generally less ware and less educated people assumes the pitot tube as weapon.

It was only my suggestion, its all upto Chris and rest of comminity that what they think about it and want to keep finally.
