Cool and informative video of DJI releasing their new GS Pro feature. DJI’s Ground Station Pro makes it easy to plan complex flight missions while automatically collecting images for precision mapping.

I watched the video and read DJI's product description on their web page, and I'm not thinking this is game-changing at all. It seems DJI has added some nice features to its Ground Station iPad app, but it only forms part of the end-to-end mapping solution that vendors like DroneDeploy and Pix4D (and others) have offered for more than a year, and that 3DR is now offering with Site Scan. GS Pro doesn't stitch the images together to create a georeferenced map or 3D model; it just makes it easier to gather the data than it was before with Ground Station.

They really need to take a closer look at Tower & Litchi, and why they are so popular among the community.
