A quick documentary of my FPV flight to Robben Island, where Mr Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years.

Back then I was very worried about flying over water...

This was before Cruize mode :)

About 16km and 35 minutes, safe touch down!

What happened to the supply drops to impounded ship? Is the ship gone?

I assume this flight would have been more stressful then being in Island :)

This seems to have been a prophetic trip. I just heard on the news about the death today of Mr. Nelson Mandela at the age of 95. My thoughts are with the people of South Africa tonight as they mourn the loss of a great man.

Beautiful video!

@Hein, 2 questions: 1) what brand of video transmitter are you using? My 1.2 Ghz video transmitter caused so much interference with my GPS reception I had to move to 5.8GHz. 2) Your power configuration seems to go against conventional wisdom by having different capacity batteries in paralelle. Does your 2200mAh battery over discharge?
