Hi DIYDRONES! I saw the Juno battery on here many months ago and decided to buy it. It's stated as having a 12 volts, 300 peak amps and 6000mAh capacity. I had hopes to use it for some of my drone projects but the shape didn't quite fit my current drone frames. I decided to make a drone around the battery instead! It's being printed right now. I will followup with post production pics!

Primary Design Goals:

Created to work with a JUNOJUMPR (Black) by JunoPower.

Designed to be 3D printer friendly.

5" Blades
2150KV HK Baby Beast motors
12 Amp HK Afro ESCs
HKPilot Mega Mini flight controller with GPS
FrSKY D4R-II Reciever
3DR radio
 
The JUNOJUMPER battery slides in through the back and connects with 2mm plugs mounted in the body.

All electronics can fit comfortably inside the body. ESCs (green), Flight Controller (purple), GPS (orange).

The 3D Printing plans have printer helpers that can be snipped off post production.

    Re the battery itself, I can certainly see how it would be nice to be able to connect/disconnect a battery more easily.

    For the design of the copter, I'm not an expert but I think it's good to keep the center of gravity on the same plane as the motors/propellers.  So it might be slightly low in your design.
