NEW 4-in-1 Speed Control Quad HOBBYWING Skywalker Quattro

Like to know your feelings on this new product for multi rotor craft?

Have you ever had your quad fall out the sky seemingly for no reason. Is low voltage cut off enabled on one or more of your ESC's? This can cause crashes! If you quad is low on power, voltage is cut from one or more ESC's  the motor attached to the esc stop causing a crash. Your esc could be configured incorrectly.

HOBBYWING Skywalker just relesed this Powerful switch mode built-in BEC (the BEC voltage outputs from the S3 connector). The throttle range of each ESC can be calibrated to be suitable for different multi-rotor flying control systems transmitters. Maximum speed: 210000 RPM (2 poles motor), 70000 RPM (6 poles motor), 35000 RPM (12 poles motor). The only non OEM 4in one ESC on the market that I have seen. LIPO(2-4S)/NIMH(5-12 cells).

Wow, this is brilliant!  I have been wondering if somebody would make something like this!  This makes everything SO much simpler!

HiModel is like HobbyKing and use a price model that is more related to the actual production cost..

So... you're saying that Hobby Wing is simply overpriced?

Nice. But I wonder if it uses SIL MCUs like their updated ESCs (fentiums, flyfuns, etc...) cause I have zero luck with them in both the reliability and update rate dept.

4/6/8 esc can be on copter arm with no impact on center of gravity. How this product can be put in the center of a copter?

obviously you would mount on the center of the copter due to the CG. all OEM mount there ESC in the center.

@OG - It says I have to buy 5 minimum to get the $30 price?
