    SteveB: Next four weeks.

  • Interesting,... What is the time frame that you have for filling the Firmware Engineer position?

  • Looking for anyone with an aerospace engineering degree, and a few years experience working on larger scale UAV/UASs?

  • Nope, no such luck for Aussies :(

  • Those sound like awesome jobs! I'm a bit short on the experience part though. Now to go research Working Visa's for the US....

  • Hi Chris,

Thank you for the incredibly quick reply.  I am in San Diego, so am mostly looking for ways to help out in this area.   If something changes in either your sales or marketing needs in the San Diego area, please keep me in mind.

By the way, will you have a presence at CES?  It would be a real treat for me to see what you have to show off in person. I've had difficulty getting out to the maker faires with my current work/life schedule.

    Thanks,

    Oleg

Oleg: We'll be adding Community Manager and Editorial Director positions in Berkeley. The jobs in San Diego are all engineering (in addition to a lot of production, shipping, customer support and admin jobs that we just fill through the regular SD hiring channels). We've already hired our lead Sales and Marketing roles.

  • Hi Chris,

Do you have plans for non-technical openings in the near future, i.e. product management, marketing, etc.?

It's been very exciting watching your dream grow into such a compelling reality. I would love to be some part of it.

    Thanks,
    Oleg
  • @Chris Anderson - I'd love to help field QA test for you guys on some of my planes. Hopefully after the new year I can spend more time in San Diego.

Nick, in general they need the ability to work in the US (citizenship, green card or work permit). We're not able to go through an H1B process for applicants at this stage.
