3DR radio problem

Simply put the settings on my telemetry radios are different, and consequently  they won't connect (they did so previously, before i changed some settings) and just conintue to flash green, so I would like to know if there is a way to 'reset' both of the radios so that they would connect.

If there is another solution, I am happy to hear it

Many thanks in advance

  • Hi Armen,

Are you still having this issue? As Sascha mentioned you can reprogram the radios if you have an FTDI programmer cable. If you dont have an FTDI programmer you can also use an Arduino Uno by doing the following:

    1. Carefully remove the ATMega chip from the Arduino Uno
    2. Connect the 5V and GND pins on the Uno board to the Vin and GND pins on the Radio
    3. Connect the RX and TX pins (digital pins 0 and 1) to the RX and TX pins on your Radio
    4. Download and install the 3DR Radio tool (http://ardupilot.com/downloads/?did=89).
    5. Connect the Uno to your computer, then use the tool to adjust settings on the radio.

    Hope this helps!
  • Hook up the air radio to your PC using a ftdi or similar serial->USB adapter and adjust the settings to match again.
