Can someone help me with a question about these ESC's? I have built a hex drone but am afraid to try it out. The ESC's are mated to Multistar Elite 3508 HV and both came from Hobby King. The add has a note: "Note: A user manual is available under the files tab, these are no ordinary ESCs! Please take the time to read the manual before using them." under the "Files" tab there is a standard 30A Afro manual. I have tried every way I can to get the correct user manual from HobbyKing since January 2015 to no avail (Chat, Email, And still open ticket). I have read some reviews on these ESC,s none were very good and seemed there were several crashes involved. I feel that for the sales ad to have this notation there must be some reason Afro wants you to read the manual before using the ESC's so I have held of flying or testing this drone seeing I have invested several hundreds of dollars in it. I am familiar with Radio Control but this is my first project with the Pixhawk control and would like to see it fly more than once. I would appreciate any help obtaining the correct manual or any information on the correct set up of this motor ESC combination. I plan on testing with a pair of Multistar 8000mah 4S 14.8 volt batteries to bring this to the 8S max capacity of this system and would hate to see it go up in smoke when I power it up. Any suggestions?
