I pulled a few wires in the field from my minimOSD yesterday and seem to have fried something in my APM2.0 and minimOSD. Given the camera/Vtx is 12v, I'm guessing something might have touched a pin it shouldn't have... the only cables touched were the minimOSD telemetry input and the video IN side of the OSD.
I can no longer connect the APM 2.0 to the MP via USB or using 3DR radios, or get anything on the OSD except clean video feed (no waiting for MAV link messages etc).
I already had a busted diode so had to power the input and output rails via a separate UBEC.
The APM2.0 and minimOSD both seem to start up with various power and other lights working, but can't talk to anything...
Is it all toast?

Have you checked the board shows up in devices in Windows Control Panel? Also try a different com port as sometimes that will cause Windows to install the drivers (on that new port again) and can make Windows recognize the board
Hello, I have the same problem. it shows com&lpt comport but under that arduino 2560 but has no com port number listed , before that i have port no.3 ,since i fixed my 3.3 v reg.ic and now can't connect to MP
I have somewhat the same problem after setting up 3DR radios, I cannot connect my APM to MP. Now, the only way I can see it is with the 3DR radio link, which still works. My minimosd refuses to connect with the FTDI so I can`t set it up at all.
In device manager, I use to have a com port number listed under Arduino 2560. That`s gone but Arduino 2560 is still listed in device manager, connected or not. It`s a complete mess. OSD not working and APM pretty useless now since I can`t upgrade firmware via 3DR radios, that can only be done via USB. Not a happy camper. Sitting with $300 worth of hardware I cannot use at all. I have emailed 3DR to send my minimosd back for repair or replacement but nothing so far.
