I have recently purchased the APM 2.5+ with the 3dr telemetry radios.
last night after placing the arduplane firmware on the APM, trying to connect and it just hangs on the peram RLL2SRV_D and then after a period of time it then fails to connect.
within terminal it shows that the compass failed to initialize. I also tried to enable and reset the compass and this did not work.
holding the reset button on reboot did not work either.
I have also tried loading the firmware again, this gave the same result.
this is a brand new APM, with nothing connected to it, bar the USB cable.
I suspect this is a harware fault, as i have found similar issue within the forum on this subject.
Please help or let me know where we go from here, im patiently waiting your response, as i badly want to get this APM into my plane and in the air!

Having the same issue, brand new APM2.5. It was working before I updated the firmware.
I just got an RMA from the store, All that wait and preparation and it turned out to be a dud.
Hmmm? I just got APM 2.5 2 days ago and I am getting the same results. Except mine gets stuck on on AHRS RP P. It keeps failing the gyro in my case. I wonder If we got a bad batch!
Hey there, i have the very same issue but even with USB connection (as i have no wireless telemetry).
This is only the second time plugging the APM 2.5 to a computer since unboxing it as i wanted
it to let the GPS update the almanac.
Very disappointing, any help appreciated!
